Dale S. Revelle was appointed by Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry to the Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans in October 2025. He serves as one of four Orleans Parish representatives on the seven-member regional board and as a commissioner of the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad.

A lifelong maritime professional, Revelle brings decades of experience in vessel operations, shipping agency management, and international trade. He is President of DSR Properties, LLC, and previously served as President of Revelle Shipping Agency, Inc., overseeing global vessel operations and trade relations for more than 20 years. His career has included work with international clients such as Onego Shipping and Chartering, Roymar Shipping, Halliburton, Rain Carbon, Jumbo Maritime, and Suntory International.

Revelle has also been active in civic and industry leadership, serving on the Board of Directors of the New Orleans Board of Trade, as a member of the New Orleans Steamship Association, and in leadership roles with the United Houma Nation.

Revelle will serve a five-year term on the Board of Commissioners, helping guide the Port’s mission to drive commerce and connect global markets.
