Welcome to New Orleans Public Belt Railroad’s Procurement Services system. Our team is dedicated to providing and managing for our customers the most effective and efficient procurement processes and procedures for the acquisition of quality goods and services in support of the NOPB’s mission and goals.

Procurement is "service oriented" to support buyers and users with the best procurement, negotiation, financial and informational resources; and to provide qualified suppliers/service providers and vendors with open and fair access to contracting opportunities.

Your Company’s Roadmap to Procurement Opportunity

Step One: Visit Central Bidding and the SEBConnect App to review current opportunities in construction, professional services, and goods and services for the Port of New Orleans and New Orleans Public Belt Railroad. You will need to create an account on www.centralbidding.com for bid/proposal submission and check on the status of bids.

Step Two: Under “Browse Public Bids” click Louisiana Agencies, and look for the Port of New Orleans and the New Orleans Public Belt. This will bring you to the Procurement Opportunities. Check the list and click on any of the projects listed for more information, including specifications, start/end date and all corresponding bid documents.

Step Three: Submit your proposal via the Central Bidding portal. A member of our Procurement team will be in contact regarding next steps.

The Board does not have a certification program, but accepts certifications issued by:
  • The City of New Orleans SLDBE program
  • The The State of Louisiana’s Department of Economic Development’s SBE Hudson Initiative program
  • The Federal Small Business Enterprise Program
